Brief Description
Emmanuel Baptist Church is a conservative evangelical church associated with the Southern Baptist Convention. We base our beliefs on the Bible, God’s word.
Our church was constituted in 1961 and moved to its current location in 1962.
Our Services
Our services last about an hour and use a blended music style — a mixture of contemporary worship songs and traditional hymns — led by our praise band. Our congregation is representative of Rochester at large and has people from various denominational backgrounds. Most members wear blue jeans or slacks but it doesn’t really matter to us, come as you are!
Sunday Mornings
We have Bible studies with classes for all ages, followed by our worship service.
